Project Description
ABC Music is a London-based talent management group that champions young artists who value honesty, creative freedom, and real connection. They came to us to create an identity that captured who they are: a bold, independent voice in the music industry that stays rooted in trust and ambition.In discovery, we explored the founders’ vision and the cultural influences that shaped them. David Bowie’s Blackstar came up again and again—not as a visual reference but as a symbol of courage and creative risk. That spirit of openness shaped the direction for the identity. The design process balanced raw energy with restraint. The custom logotype is built on tight, expressive spacing—echoing the closeness and loyalty ABC builds with its artists. Visual references ranged from Walkman-era branding to the understated power of minimal type systems, always asking: how do we keep it clear but alive?

The new color palette grounds the brand emotionally. Blue represents calm and trust, inspired by the flow of water and the rhythm of artistic expression. Black stands for stability and leadership—a reminder that ABC is a steady partner in an unpredictable industry. Gold brings in a sense of aspiration and growth, reflecting the dreams and goals the company nurtures in its artists.

The final system feels confident but flexible. It speaks to emerging talent and established names alike, while staying true to ABC’s mission: to connect, protect, and push artistry forward.
